STATE THE RIGHT GDP GCB
Ghana
commercial bank should have known that IMF is above the trick game picked-up
with them as it states out 56% as the country’s current GDP. The International Monetary
Fund is an international bank set to provide financial aid to countries that
face economic hardship eventually causing its currency to deflate. Such institution
with no doubt keeps the economic status of countries in the right order to help
them stand on good grounds going about their duties.
Therefore
Ghana Commercial bank filing incorrect economic values to them goes beyond the
act of professionalism; a blotch on their records depicting how dishonest and
insecure their services could be. Also the government agreeing to present
wrongly the country’s economic status internationally is another issues to talk
about.
The
IMF who keeps with time Ghana’s GDP states 71% as the current; intend to run
till 2015 and 56% of the country’s GDP as at 2009 while the Ghana Commercial bank presented 56%
as the current GDP. It must be admit
that Ghana’s economic status still remains poor as inflation for the month of
September records 16.5% to 15.9% in the month of August. (Government
statistician, Philomena Nyarko reports)
The
present economic hardship facing individuals in the country cannot be overemphasized
as the various economic indicators continue to rise a percentage increase or
more to the previous. Therefore it will be in the right step for Bank of Ghana to
project the right economic stands of the country to IMF and Ghanaian's.
