FARMERS PRIDE

All too soon another edition of the farmers’ day celebration is upcoming as the climax month, December unravel to end the year.

The celebration which normally takes place on every first Friday is under the auspices of the Ministry of Food and Agriculture who gives mandate to any unit under it precincts to take charge of responsibilities in terms of hosting and organization.

This year’s farmers’ day celebration both municipal and regional has been placed on the neck of the Ga. West District to host both the regional and the municipal farmers day anniversaries yet to take place at the Asofan school park in Pokuase.

 December 5^th is the day crown for the celebration which is the 30^th on series with the theme “Grow what you eat”. Apparently Farmers merited for various awards in the GA West Municipality has been selected, and the award categories include:
